Our Legacy
For over three decades, MAISA has served as a bridge between heritage and modernity, connecting generations of Akwa Ibom indigenes through culture, community service, and collective progress. From social events and cultural exhibitions to welfare support and educational programs, our association continues to strengthen bonds within the diaspora while remaining connected to our roots in Akwa Ibom State.
We remain steadfast in our purpose — to unite, empower, and uplift our community while celebrating the vibrant identity that defines us as Akwa Ibomites.
These values drive our mission to uplift our community, promote our culture, and make a lasting impact wherever we live and serve:
Would you like to join us?
At MAISA, every Akwa Ibom son and daughter in the UK and Ireland has a place to belong. Together, we build a stronger community, preserve our heritage, and contribute meaningfully to the society we live in.
